PRESIDENT

Troy Fountain

Troy was born and raised in Hueytown and has called the Wiregrass area home for over 20 years. He has a professional background in ministry, consulting, business, sales, and education.

Before working at the Wiregrass Foundation, Troy served as the founding pastor of Wiregrass Church in Dothan, AL. He has also coached and consulted various ministries and organizations to grow and positively portray their organizations in their communities. He also spent three years as a public school teacher in Tuscaloosa.

Troy graduated from the University of Alabama in 1993 and Dallas Theological Seminary in 2008. He lives in Dothan with his wife, Stacy, and has four children: Kate and her husband Bennett, Mary Dean, Bess, and Edward.

Cindy Bedsole

Originally from Detroit, Michigan, Cindy has called Alabama home since her early teens. Before working with the Wiregrass Foundation, she began her career at Flowers Hospital. She later moved to Birmingham, Alabama, where she added lease management and space planning to her list of professions.

Cindy returned to Dothan in 2005 and established her philanthropic career at Wiregrass Foundation, focusing on grantee relations and evaluation. She also manages the Foundation's nonprofit capacity-building program, CapCONNECT.

Cindy has an Associate's Degree in Psychology from Troy University.  She and her husband, Harold, attend Wiregrass Church. She has two children, Clay and Christy, and three grandchildren, Grey, Ava, and Taylor.

OFFICE MANAGER

Christina Ross

Born and raised in Dothan, Christina is no stranger to the Wiregrass area. Before working with the Wiregrass Foundation, she began her career with Eagle Eye Outfitters. She serves as a Board Member for Dothan Area Young Professionals and is a Leadership Dothan Class 40 graduate. She also manages the Dothan Alumni Cohort initiative.

Christina received her A.A. and A.S. Degrees from Wallace Community College before continuing her education at Troy University Dothan. There, she earned her B.S. in Social Work. She is currently pursuing a Master's in Public Administration through Troy University.

Christina has one daughter, Allie. They are members of Covenant Methodist Church, where Christina also serves on the Praise and Worship Team.
